So, although the order is all f'd up, you can follow along. Saturday at the shop was an eventful. Started by cleaning up the front half of the shovel head frame in preparation for the Hardatail kit we are putting together. Progress on the fram came to a hault until we get the jig ready to go. We decided to give the tank a go. We started with stock softail tanks to get a feel for it and scrapped those for the shovelhead tanks you see here, needless to say the result was mind blowing. Not sure what this build is called just yet but for now we will go with Chado's '79 chopper project. Stay tuned for more updates on this glorious dream of a machine.
