The three-alarm fire broke out in the former Hamm's/ Natty Boh Brewery in the 1200-block of South Conkling Street.
Smoke is pouring through the roof and the fifth floor windows of the building.
Capt. Roman Clark of the Baltimore City Fire Department says part of the building has collapsed and firefighters have been able to make it back inside to fight the flames.
Two firefighters have been taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion.
Scott Reardon, producer for the 98 Rock Morning Show, who lives in the neighborhood told WBAL News that heavy smoke has been pouring from the building since around 2:15 this afternoon.
