Spent some of presidents day getting aquatinted with a new friend the polishing wheel. Aside from the tubes front end is now good to go.

So I scored a set of 39mm trees at the swap on the cheap and decided to run 41mm tubes on them. My father in law has a killer setup in his basement so I headed over there for some machine work. Ended up with a great finish in the bore and the 41mm tubes fit great. Just orders a set of 4over tubes so the front end is almost finished up. Spending some time on the polishing wheel with the sliders and will post pics of the progress

Big thanks to Ron for his welding and the magic of Tim and Murph on thought and execution. We got the tank tightened up a bit more. Stash tube complete and looks bitchen. Don't take my word for it. Take a look for yourself. Have all the components for the hard tail, but that will have to wait until after the timmonium don't forget to stop by our spot and visit.

CHADO'S 79 SHOVEL PROJECT

So, although the order is all f'd up, you can follow along. Saturday at the shop was an eventful. Started by cleaning up the front half of the shovel head frame in preparation for the Hardatail kit we are putting together. Progress on the fram came to a hault until we get the jig ready to go. We decided to give the tank a go. We started with stock softail tanks to get a feel for it and scrapped those for the shovelhead tanks you see here, needless to say the result was mind blowing. Not sure what this build is called just yet but for now we will go with Chado's '79 chopper project. Stay tuned for more updates on this glorious dream of a machine.

1968 xlch ironhead for sale. motor was taken apart inspected and rebuilt. new cyl, pistons, rings, valves,valve guides,ect... the heads were re machined with a 3 angle valve job also ported and installed with shovel head valves (oversized). the bike has a heavy duty rods and pb+ cams to boot! motor was built to run! all new paint. wheels were re laced and trued. rear fender was smoothed and has a custom tag mount on the swing arm.brand new pipes and most of the rest is stock. clear title! call the shop w/ questions 410 285 0282. tim or murphy.
